I was recently given a can of RAW Nutrition Essential Pre Workout Powder in exchange for a review, with no obligation to blog it. This post is not part of the deal, and I’m not obligated to write good things. I’m covering it here because I genuinely want to.
Warning: This is a stimulant pre workout powder and should be used with caution, and only before high energy fitness activities.
ADHD warning: This will likely hit you a lot harder than you think. Start with a SMALL FRACTION of the recommended starting dose, and SIP IT, because a tiny bit is likely going to kickstart your nervous system into superhuman mode within minutes. It doesn’t take much. Use it wisely, and not at all if you are already on a stimulant medication.
The short version:
This stuff kicks. Great tasting fruity rocket fuel.
Most people can get away with using it as-is. It’s a wonderful product, and highly effective. Just be cautious if you’re a first time pre workout user, and listen to your body.
It is especially effective on ADHD brains like mine, and I’ve found that my favorite way to consume it is in tiny amounts added to whatever fruity protein drink I mix up for the day. It’s such a small amount that I wouldn’t be able to fully enjoy the flavor when mixed with water alone.
