Did I stay up [possibly way too] late to see the Full Blood Moon? Yes. Did I go out into the cold to get photos? Yes. Am I watching the Lunar Eclipse from my window while blogging this? Also yes.
The Full Blood Moon + Lunar Eclipse is all about transformation – the destruction of old before the new. It’s dark. It’s intense. And if you’ve been feeling it lately, you’re not alone.
It hit me hard this week. But I’ve had my deeply transformative moments today as well, and now I’m ready to move forward.

The darkness is a good time to sit alone and contemplate what your soul really wants. To reassess and realign. Just you and your thoughts – all the good, the bad, the in-between – they all serve a purpose, and our feelings around them are a signal to dig deeper. They exist to guide us to self-discovery and our greater purpose, and ignoring them only pulls us further away from who we truly are.
The spring equinox is approaching soon – the astrological new year – a time for new beginnings…
But first, there must be endings.
It’s time to detach and let go of what no longer serves us. Outgrowing things is a natural and necessary part of life, and it should be embraced. Not all things, habits or people can exist in the next season. Letting go with grace is a virtue.
I think I’m getting pretty skilled at it these days… and it’s getting fun now, honestly.
I’m ready for a new adventure.

I’m also going to be so tired tomorrow.
