I’ve been on a big burger kick ever since I burned out on Chinese food a few weeks ago — it’s a neurodivergent thing — and I haven’t been to a CopperTop Tavern yet, so why not check it out.

Aside from the music (a lot of country, which I find mostly depressing as a genre [but was expecting from the venue anyway].. with the random No Doubt song thrown in [a funny change of pace and doable]), I dig it. The darker tavern-style decor and dim lighting is nice in the way that I don’t find it overstimulating. And the most important part — the food — was good. That burger was exactly what I was looking for in that moment.
