Another month gone by so quickly!

September has been full of events, travel, and preparing to move in the coming months.

You know what I love about this move?

I came to my current place to build in silence, to prepare for my next season of life. I kept my head down and focused on my projects, careful not to “dig my roots in too deep” into a place I always intended to leave. And now I can say I have completed everything I came here to do, and so much more. It’s time to take the next month to tie up any remaining loose ends and prepare to go.

It’s so EASY this way!

I chose my next home (with the SO, it wasn’t just me!) in a new town/suburb where no one knows us [yet], and we don’t have to worry about being held back by people/places/things from previous seasons of life that no longer serve us.

Far enough away from old jobs and unfortunate connections we wish to avoid, yet still close to family and friends. Closer to the stores we shop at, medical care, and the kinds of places we like to frequent.

Our new home is PERFECT in the way that it needs work, and I get to flex my creativity and make it beautiful on the inside.

And our cats will love all the big windows and open space to get their zoomies out.

What I’m loving right now:

daydreaming about my next home, our first together (it’ll be 2 years for us in January) ☆ most of the things I need to transfer will be super easy ☆ no sad goodbyes, this is 100% a celebration ☆ I’m realizing that I have accomplished so much here! ☆ I have become an entirely new person, in a good way ☆ everything I have been manifesting became reality. Again.

I really enjoyed this post particularly the forethought you had that your current abode was only ever going to be temporary and now you are happily looking forward to your next move. A move that again is well thought out and will be such a positive step for you. Well done 👍

Being able to choose the scene for the next season in your life must be liberating! This SO person seems very interesting as well.

I am very much in awe of your self-recreation. I can’t even imagine the courage and fortitude that must have taken – well-done you! Love the pics too! Esp. the Fire Tower shot. “Big Cloud Blue Sky” days are always the best, non? Thank you for sharing such personal details, this post was very inspiring.

I enjoy your posts and hope you have a great move and great adventures. My interest was piqued by your rambles in the area where my grandpa was born and raised — Tioga Co. A Midwesterner, I moved 1,000 miles by myself to New Mexico about 13 years ago and carved out a new home. It was an inspiring change. The moving experience always comes with a learning curve — may yours be short and inspiring.
