I recently went glamping with the SO at Letchworth State Park in Wyoming County, NY right when the autumn foliage was at its peak.
It was so beautiful! 🍂
We packed up most of our stuff the day before, so all we had to do was load it in the car and hit the road in the late morning.

We timed it just right too, with time for snack stops and grocery shopping once we got closer to the park.
It was a nice drive, and a a lot closer than I thought, for some reason. Maybe because it’s such a big park and our cabin was in the part closest to us.

Check-in is at 3p, and on October 19, sunset was at 6:21p, so the first day was mostly about getting there, and then settled in.

And let me tell you, it was COZY!!
The electric fireplace kept us toasty all night in our little cabin, safe from the cold autumn air. And the ambiance was fantastic- the flickering fire and sounds of the rain on the roof were so relaxing.
The cabin also included running [cold] water and a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove/oven, and a microwave so we can cook pretty much whatever we wanted inside.. I made us burgers.
And it was nice having a toilet in the cabin as well, so I didn’t have to keep running to another building all throughout night. LOL

And then it was time to sleep.
Day 2 was when the real adventures began…
