Some evenings don’t need much planning — just a good place, solid food, and time to sit and enjoy it. This visit to Farm by Beer Tree Brew in Port Crane was exactly that.

After our plans fell through, we happened to be in the area and looking for something to do.

What I Ordered

I went with the taco salad, served in a crisp tortilla bowl and topped with seasoned meat, fresh vegetables, pickled onions, jalapeños, and a scoop of guacamole. It was filling without feeling heavy, and everything tasted fresh and well-balanced.

To drink, I ordered the Trippy Trees Strawberry Vanilla beer. It had a smooth, sweet profile without being overpowering — an easy drink that paired well with the food and the relaxed setting.

The Atmosphere

Farm by Beer Tree Brew is a solid option if you’re looking for something casual in the Southern Tier. The space feels open and social, often with live music, making it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.

It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a low-key dinner as it does for meeting friends or stopping in after a day out.

Had to look up Port Crane, which taught me about cranes at ports, and then the place popped up–mouth watering fare. Lucky you!

“Trippy Trees Strawberry Vanilla beer” – defies the imagination! Wouldn’t it be great to have a job as a beer taster and namer?!? I’d apply!

I don’t like Beer but that sounds delicious. It does sound like it would go perfectly with that delicious looking salad. Thankfully it comes with Guacamole and not Avacdo. If I am ever in Binghamton area I will try the place for sure.

Closest I have ever been to that city is Athens, Pa BITD to race BMX. By the way great pictures.
