A “Soft Life” Guide for 2026: Living Well Without Burning Out

Prioritize well-being without abandoning discipline, growth, or meaningful work.

I used to post weekly about all the things I’m grateful for at the moment, and recently decided that’s a habit I’d really like to bring back. Good vibes kind of stuff.

It’s easy to fall into little negativity traps if you don’t take the time to reflect and appreciate the wonderful things.

So here goes- my first attempt at a gratitude list after a few years of silence.

Oni (my cat, also an ESA now) • good friends, new and old • a much needed vacation happening VERY soon! • my Patreon supporters (thank you so much!) • my sister • hiking • long bubble baths • Instagram • silence and meditation • Netflix • legal cannabis • therapy • thrift stores • matcha • my new Wakit grinder (aff) • the feeling of excitement that comes with knowing there are great things ahead for you • being able to sleep most nights this week • tacos • Twitch • realizing I’ve grown a lot in the past year • new exciting ideas, even if they are a little crazy.

I feel super happy just thinking about all these things.

What are you grateful for?
