Yesterday I took a couple hours to walk across town (for the first time since moving here) to get a feel for the area and check out a local small thrift store.

It was a chilly day, at 42°F and feeling like 34°F with the wind, so I dressed for warmth and comfort.

Outfit of the day:

What I found:

Vintage 80s Bebe Furrrina corduroy bomber jacket, camel tan beige color

Calvin Klein Jeans V-neck grey gray sweater

Express skinny jeans, dark blue wash denim

Mountain Club plaid flannel, blues ($4.99), Old Navy plaid flannel, green and blue ($4.99)

I loved the vibe of this little thrift store. The guy in charge was super chill and playing 80s rock, which I couldn’t help dancing to at certain points. And I found some great clothing to wear through the colder months. I think a new favorite has been discovered!

Do you enjoy thrift shopping?

Great shirts – and yes I do like browsing in second hand shops – found a fabulous dress recently.

My wife is totally addicted to the thrift shops – especially now that we are retired. When we run out of room they usually get most of it back to sell again. She also finds the odd gems for me.

That looks like a great haul! At the moment I am trying (and for the most part succeeding) to lose weight, so I am more dropping things off rather than getting them!
